Sourcing robot components from Taiwan
RoboticsTaiwan.com connects robot builders with small and mid-size component manufacturers in Taiwan. It is run by the team behind TaiwanDrones.com.
A deep precision-manufacturing base
Taiwan has a long-established machine-tool and motion-control industry, much of it around Taichung. The same supply chain makes reducers, ball and roller screws, encoders, motors, sensors and drive electronics, the components robot builders need in volume.
Many of the most capable makers are small and mid-size companies. They often have no English-language sales team and no overseas distributor, so buyers outside Taiwan rarely find them. We find these companies, collect the information buyers ask for, and introduce them.
From the team behind TaiwanDrones.com
TaiwanDrones.com is the first dedicated English-language platform covering Taiwan's drone industry, with market intelligence, export data, a verified manufacturer directory and a sourcing service for international buyers.
RoboticsTaiwan.com applies the same approach to robot components: every request is screened, suppliers are verified before we introduce them, and each introduction includes the supplier's answers on component origin. The two sites are run separately and do not share buyer data.
Requests, screening and introductions
Search
We search our supplier network for manufacturers that fit your specifications, stage and volume. If a supplier fits your requirement and wants to proceed, we introduce you by email. After that, you and the supplier work together directly.
Screening
Every request is checked against sanctions and restricted-party lists maintained by the United States, the European Union, the United Nations, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia and Taiwan. If screening finds a possible match, a person reviews the request. We do not contact any supplier about a request until it has passed screening.
Disclosure
A supplier learns who you are only after your request has passed screening, and only if we have verified that supplier and it has signed our introduction agreement. We keep your request and its screening record. We do not take part in, or store, your communications with a supplier after an introduction.
How we handle component origin
Buyers set different origin rules. Some need non-PRC magnets or bearing steel, some count origin by component value, and some need a full bill of materials. A single yes-or-no label does not answer all of these.
We ask each supplier where its magnets and bearing steel come from, which work is subcontracted and where, and what origin documentation it will give a buyer. We pass those answers on with each introduction. They come from the supplier. We do not verify or certify them, and buyers who need independent verification should arrange it with the supplier.
The team
Sylvaine Li has more than ten years of experience in international B2B sales and market intelligence, connecting Asian manufacturers with buyers abroad.
Before co-founding TaiwanDrones.com, Sylvaine was a Senior Account Manager at Alibaba Group in Taiwan, helping Taiwanese manufacturers reach international buyers through Alibaba's B2B export platform. Earlier, Sylvaine was Director of Business Development at Kantar and Country Manager for Innova Market Insights, building that company's Taiwan presence. Sylvaine has also held B2B sales roles at YKK, Nestlé Professional and Echo Chemical.
Sylvaine leads supplier relationships for RoboticsTaiwan.com from Taiwan's central manufacturing region: finding manufacturers, verifying them, asking the origin questions and agreeing introduction terms.

How we are paid
Suppliers may pay RoboticsTaiwan.com in connection with introductions. Supplier fees do not affect which suppliers we introduce.
Submitting a request is free. Where a requirement needs a dedicated search, for example a specialized part, a supplier outside our network or a small quantity, we may propose a scoped sourcing engagement, priced before any work starts. You decide whether to proceed or not.
