Force, torque and tactile sensors from Taiwan
Taiwanese makers build six-axis force/torque sensors for robot wrists, joint torque sensors for collaborative arms, and tactile arrays and e-skin for grippers and humanoid hands. Many use Taiwan's local strain-gauge, MEMS and flexible-PCB suppliers for sensing elements and signal electronics.

Origin
Origin questions we ask suppliers
We ask suppliers these questions and include their answers with each introduction. The answers come from the supplier. We do not verify or certify them.
- Where are the strain gauges or sensing elements made?
- Where are the signal-conditioning ICs and ADCs sourced?
- Where is the sensor body machined?
- Is calibration done in-house in Taiwan?
